Livingstone HEAVY METAL pedal from ALDI
« on: May 18, 2010, 12:02:30 AM »

This would have to be the best $20 I have spent at Aldi.
The pedal looks cheap feels light and breakable , the switch
feels like its gonna give any second but turn it on and SOB
this pedal actually made me laugh it was made so flimsey
but ROARED like a booteek pedal. Bit noisy on high volume
but whattya expect from $19.99 plus if your part is mid song
no ones gonna hear the noise anyway. This pedal stays on the
pedal board for fun  ;D  apparently it is a clone of a Boss SD-1 or summfin

Haha I couldn't resist and ended up buying the Delay, Distortion and Flanger. They all seem fine and comparable to any big name brands that I've used. The tuner from Aldi is great too, even has a metronome!

Ye Nick by the time I got to the Aldi near me it had been fleeced of stock except for 2 heavy metal pedals.
I nearly grabbed the 2 of them but went home with one  ::)   I'm having fun with it for sure.
